Recommended Reading

God Emperor of Dune - My all time favorite. It is full of deep wisdom about life, humanity, religion, and economics. It is the 4th book in the Dune series by Frank Herbert, you will need to read the first 3 also (they too are full of insight). The last two books are also definitely worth reading. These are sci-fi books, but they are not "action" books.

A Song of Fire and Ice - My all time favorite fantasy fiction, surpassing even Tolkien's great works.

How to Win Friends and Influence People - Written in 1936 by Dale Carnegie. This book brings to light what should be common-sense rules to live by. If you haven't read this, I can guarantee you will find knowledge in it to improve your life.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Stephen Covey has done in this book exactly what I am attempting with this web site, gather wisdom from others and present it in a way that reaches more people. His book helps you set up step by step actions for living the life you want to live.

Siddharta - Herman Hesse's short story of a man seeking how to live life.

Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience - This book teaches you what you treasure most in life, and what you need to do to spend your life doing what you love. Reading this requires a little more discipline that many self-help books, but it is full of unique ideas based on research findings. By Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

The Cerebral Symphony - A non-fictional book by William H. Calvin that explains, using analogies, how the human mind works.

Mission Earth - A series of 10 1000 page books by L. Ron Hubbard. A good sci-fi story that shows the power that Marketing and Psychology have over YOU and your life today. Presents a scary picture of where our society is headed by the "mis-truths" that marketing can lead us to believe. Shows the "dumbing-down" of America.
